For the second day of our study of Psalm 1, we look at the first word of the first verse, 'blessed'.Today's thought: in our hands is a book that, rightly understood and entered into, will open to us a deep well and usher us into a spiritual landscape that is beautiful beyond words.
About Alan
Alan has been exercising a pastoral and teaching ministry for over fifty years, holding a Masters in Practical Theology. After retiring in 2013, he now gives much of his time to writing daily devotional commentaries.
His heart has always been to see Christians engage meaningfully with the Bible for themselves, discovering along the way the beauty and vast majesty of the kingdom of God.
Married to Mo, they have five children and eleven grandchildren (so far!) He loves playing both bass and acoustic guitar in worship teams.
